Owen has been working with new and reclaimed flooring since leaving Greenmount College- He has over 20 years experience working in Europe and throughout Ireland and the U.K. and no project has proved too big or complex so far.

We do not have a showroom, rather we come to your home or business by prior appointment and discuss your requirments, the woods, suitability and design. from there we construct a custom sample board just for you, completely finished as it would be in your home and we will encourage you to subject it to all the rigours of family or business life to ensure you are completely satisfied with durability and design before installation begins .

 Latest News-  Owen is further developing his specalist machinery to remove the "Sticky Tar" & "Pitch" from the backs of the old reclaimed parquet and soon we will have a prototype Mk1 up and running- offering higher efficiency and better quality restoration of old floors either within our workshop in Waringstown Co.Armagh or on-site throughout the UK and have just invested some £25,000 in new static sanders, Spindle Moulders, Festool vacuums and a great big custom made Box Trailer from Indespension in Belfast for moving all our equipment about safely and securely as well as providing an excellent mobile workshop !!

We are also going to be exibiting our entire range of Reclaimed Flooring at the "Self Build-Renovation and Home Improvement Show" at the NEC Birmingham from the 29/3 - 01/04/2012   Stand K101, this is too further our expansion throughout Ireland and the UK and would love to see you there.

After a hectic and very successful year  (one of the best yet)  we are only now getting round to expanding our range with "Hand Worked and Distressed Wide Plank engineered flooring" and our exclusive "Vintage Chic Tumbled Parquet" , both are completely compatible with warm water under floor heating, with excellent heat transmission and stability in service-as reported by our customers- not too mention being stunning and very easy to maintain !!

Owen takes great pride in training-
His 1st apprentice- Christopher Peile who has been with Owen for over 5 years now represented all of the U.K. in the 2008 European Parquet championships in Salzburg/Austria, achieving 8th place in Europe. (click) www.bwfa.co.uk/node/106 

His 2nd apprentice- (click)Jonny Craig who has been with Owen only 1 year and again represented all of the U.K. in the 2010 European Parquet Championships in Poznan/Poland, achieving 5th place in Europe.

We have two new additions to the team, Peter Harisson and Jamie Devlin, both joinery apprentices form Newry SRC and have been on work placement for some 6-12 months now. Both are oozing with talent and enthusiasm and I really hope they make a strong career in hardwood flooring
